Dust extraction for spinning area and collection chamber
Our best technologies for rough stuff
Exhaust air from the spinning area is fed into the filter plant of FAS via pipes. A so-called pre-separator for heavy particles is located before the entrance to the expansion chamber. Separated material is transported out of the filter through rotary valves and screw conveyors. Trapezoidal filter racks are installed above the expansion chamber to hold insulating wool mats. A suction flow is fed through these mats via a clean gas duct and a fan so that suspended particles are trapped in the insulating wool mats. The mats are replaced depending on their contamination level.
Main characteristics
- Filters fine and coarse suspended particles
- Dust type: Mineral wool fibres and binding agents (aerosols)
- Residual dust content:
- Filter media: Mineral wool panels
- Volume flow: 20.000 - 200.000 m³/h
- Extraction point: Raw material feeding
- Discharge example: Transport / pipe screws
- Filter change chamber by chamber using mobile change rack
Main advantages
- Sturdy design
- Long service life due to wear-resistant design
Example:
5 chambers with 50,000 m³/h each
6 filter racks per chamber
Filter area: 75 m² per chamber
Flow velocity: 11 m/s
Filter medium: Mineral wool panels from your own production
